Blue Christmas

There are years when we hurt at Christmas time and can’t enjoy the festivities that surround us. It’s at such times that we need to make the space and take the time to acknowledge our sadness and concern. We need to know that we are not alone. For this reason, we extend this invitation to join us. Through scripture, prayers, and music, this evening becomes a time to move from feeling blue to experiencing the wonder and hope of Christmas.

Date: Saturday, December 3, 2022
Time: 5:30 - 6:30 pm
Location: Sanctuary

A worship service of lament and hope, anticipation and longing, restoration and renewal. The service is structured around three distinct movements of “hearing us”, “healing us” and “sending us.” We provide space for personal and communal reflection. The worship experience provides generous amounts of silence that are woven throughout.
Let us journey together with meditation, prayer, music, and acts of restoration that help us entertain a renewed message of hope. All are welcome.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:7
