The Giving Tree

Return gift donations to the fellowship area by Sunday, December 11

For Christmas, the Holy Cross congregation will again be reaching out to families and individuals

in need in our community through our annual Giving Tree. Gift items benefit families in the COOL Transitional Housing program in

Waukegan.

This year the Giving Tree will be back in the gathering space. Gift tags will be available on Sundays in November. Tags will feature specific gift requests and/or sizes. Please

return individually wrapped gifts with tags attached to the outside of each package.

Please note: This year, gift tags will only be available in-person. If you're unable to participate in-person but wish to support COOL Ministries in another way, please consider making a monetary donation online at the link below:

"Compassion Closet"

Donation deadline: December 11

When people are brought in to the hospital by ambulance in emergencies, it is often necessary

to cut off their clothes to enable faster treatment. The “Compassion Closet” at Advocate Condell

Medical Center in Libertyville provides sweatshirts and sweatpants to patients who do not have clothes to wear when they leave Condell to go home or on to their next level of treatment. During this holiday season, Holy Cross will be collecting new, sweatshirts and sweatpants in any color, sizes Medium to 3XL.

Please drop off unwrapped sweatshirts and sweatpants in the gathering space by Sunday, December 11. If you would prefer to donate online to support this effort, please use the button below.
